SAARANG KASHYAP

Founder & Principal Instructor

Saarang is a student-leader at the Monta Vista High School (Cupertino, CA) graduating in the class of 2021. His aspiration is to become physician-scientist integrating research with practicing medicine. He is the President of the Biology Club and the Vice-President of the Science Olympiad club at MVHS. He is the Head of Curriculum for StemBoost, a non-profit org for promoting STEM among school kids. Saarang is also a student ambassador for “GenUp Fremont Union High School District”. He is campaigning for a statewide utility surcharge that funds devices and internet access in the homes of all California students. He is also a Staff Writer at “The Incentive” (https://theincentive.org/about-us/) where he publishes articles regularly on Climate Change. Besides, he is a pianist and an avid tennis enthusiast.

Deetshana is a student-leader at the Monta Vista High School (Cupertino, CA) graduating in the class of 2022. She was the Life and Earth Science event Captain of the Nationals-winning 2019 Kennedy Science Olympiad team. She has won numerous medals for biology and earth Science Olympiad events at the Regional, State, and National levels. Deetshana is also a competitive speaker winning many medals at Speech/Debate competitions. She was a branch head at the Monta Vista Speech and Debate Team and Kennedy Middle.

Joseph Lee is a student-leader at the Monta Vista High School (Cupertino, CA) graduating in the class of 2022. He has won numerous Science Olympiad medals for biology, astronomy, and flight engineering events at the Regional, State, and National levels from 2017-2020, participating at National Competitions twice. He medaled in all three of his events in the National Champion team, of which he was Co-Team Captain and Event Captain for Space, Biological Sciences, and Flight Engineering. He is also a mentor for the Kennedy Middle School Science
Olympiad Gold Team.
